# RouterTeller

RouterTellers are trust-minimized Tellers that use canonical message-passing systems to send and receive messages between chains. These are used for mission-critical transactions such as withdrawal, slash, and liquidate messages, as well as mission-critical settlement messages.

An example of a RouterTeller is OptimismTeller, which leverages the Optimism canonical bridge for OP stack chains.
